Just testing. Or is it just teasing?

At the Kaniwhaniwha stream, Te Pahu, early 2012. This is where we live, give or take a few kms. Bit hard to see, but check out where the string is attached to our teachest bass

Great image of our mate Oor Wullie (he's everybody's mate). Wullie has been an inspiration to us all. However notice the incorrect positioning of the string and stick in Soapy Souter's teachest bass. Warning: there are not many ways to get it wrong but this is one of them

The first record ever made by the BMSB. In fact one of first 4 records ever made, in glorious mono, and made here in Hamilton NZ in 1985 by Mr Bruce Holmes. Bruce was an old guy then, and his studio on Milton St spoke of other times. He cut the 4 records for us, being aluminium disks coated in acetate, on a machine that involved a record turntable and a diamond cutting stylus. He died not long after, as did a piece of local history, and his studio was bulldozed along with many other buildings to make a new road.
